Brendon Joyce and Grant Gardiner wanted to have a chat after the last game of the season as we played for the rights not to win the wooden spoon FDCC vs Prahran.

Why do you give your time to the club?

When your time has past as did mine it’s always great to see how the club is going. Have a great interest this year as I’m hoping young Roachy might have a stand out season.

Your favourite club memory?

Winning the premiership with a bunch of lads that just wanted it so bad. Think we put so much into that year, extra sessions pushing each other and just a great bunch of guys .

What do you do away from the club?

Was coaching and a warehouse manger

Favourite cricketer, past or present?

Dean Jones. Cocky bugger, lucky enough to play against him which was a highlight

What should members come and ask you about?

Commitment to the cause . Team work was everything when I played should still be now

One thing every member should know about the club?

This club has always had to prove itself and it has done that in abundance for the last 30 years . Never let the club down to many people have worked their ass off to get where we are now
